Strengthening – Back pain generally occurs due to an immense pressure imposed on the back more than its capacity. If you strengthen your muscles, the stress bearing capacity will certainly increase reducing the frequency of back ache. Start with some strengthening exercises on weekly basis under the guidance of a trained physical trainer and increase it gradually. One strengthening exercise is done as follows – lie down on the floor and bending both the knees. Then breathe in and stretch your arms upwards. Raise your head and shoulder until your shoulder blades raise completely from the floor. Hold yourself in this position for a few seconds and repeat 6-10 times.
